Updating drupal modules
Do not update core using the Drupal Admin interface or Drush.
Apply one-click updates within the Site Dashboard on Pantheon or via Terminus. You can also upload a tarball or zip file from your desktop: You still need to turn these changes into commits in your Pantheon Site Dashboard.
Project devel (7.x-1.5) downloaded to [success] /srv/bindings/.../code/sites/all/modules/devel. Dev tab: Changing your site's connection mode from SFTP to Git will discard all uncommitted file changes.
Project devel contains 3 modules: devel_generate, devel, devel_node_access. If you want to keep work in progress, commit before toggling the connection mode. Please read this section of our Pantheon Workflow article to understand why.

You still need to turn these changes into commits in your Pantheon Site Dashboard.
We assume you know nothing about Drupal, and lead you from start to finish through a practical project.
Because we are currently on an Official release of the Media Module, the move to the Dev.
So, let's go ahead and copy this folder, then go to our directory, and let's expand the site's folder. No prior Drupal experience is required, and when you're done you will have learned the most important components of Drupal site building and will have developed the skills to tackle unanticipated problems as they arise.
I'm going to go ahead and collapse this library's folder, and then under the Module's folder we have all of the Modules that we downloaded through the Update Manager Module, including the Media folder. Before watching this series, you will need a fresh Drupal 7 installation.
I'm going to go ahead and click the Zip file, by clicking on the Zip link, and in the process of downloading it, unarchive it.

You can also upload a tarball or zip file from your desktop: Dev tab of your Pantheon Site Dashboard, click Visit Development Site, then navigate to the administration page. Committing code will submit your changes to version control so you can deploy up to Test and Live.
